Sunday Dog Walkies. Empty Sunday Dog Walkies.

So There i was wandering through the woods with our Labrit Lucas on our sunday morning stroll,The sun was Out and the birds were singing and all was well with the world. When out of the woods charged three large hounds, it was like an attack of the hounds of the baskeville. Well Lucas started on the first one and moving left to right kicked the you know what out of all three of them.
They disappeared back into the woods yelping, from the same direction appeared the Sunday rambo or should i say hunter with his big gun. He began to give me a lecture on the dangers of walking in the woods at this time of the year when the chasse were hunting,so i let him finish and then i told him in my best military french to naff off my land before i set the wife on him.
He disappeared back the way he came with his dogs and all was well with the world again.

Hi Red burmese
We have complied with the regulations for the Correze and placed Chasse Interdit signs every fifty mtrs round our property,i just send them packing telling them if they were real men and wanted to play with weapons they would have join the french army but they haven't got the bottle for that. They chunter a bit, but the wife and i rattle our medals in the local bar on the 11th november after the local rememberance parade and drinks with Madame le Marie. The local rambo's disappear out the back door with there tails between there legs .

I am lucky that quite a bit of woodland surrounding my hamlet is a no hunting area.. quite well signed as well. I believe it is because there are quite a few signposted and well used walking routes through the woods and the commune doesn't want the tourists shot at !

The chasse do seem to adhere to it and I have never had them close to my property.. lucky me. The ones I have met round here don't seem too bad but at a friends it is a different matter and they tend to scowl and look very menacing when you come across them... and they hunt very close to roads and footpaths. Seems to vary from area to area.. pot luck I suppose

Have not been on my land since the marie stepped in ,but keeping an eye on things ,i dont leave the house on weekends as this is the time they hunt with dogs and come onto your property ,after lunch as a rule when they have had a skinfull !!
