advertisments at the top of the page!!!!

Does anyone else get adverts running along the top of the page on our site? can anyone tell me how to get rid of them please?
I feel like I am being invaded by unsolicited publicity .. 

Yes there are adverts across the top of the page. I use an 'add on' to my Firefox browser, AdBlock Plus, and that gets rid of them and other ads that appear on some sites.

If you are using Firefox, go to the tools menu at the top left of the browser, click 'add ons' and search for and download the above program. That should sort it. It is free

Should you choose, you can easily disable or remove it by clicking tools/add ons again

Is there such an option for users of Google Chrome and if so, how do you do it?

Myriam, I don't have Chrome on my laptop but googled and there is an AdBlock Plus version for that browser. I presume that it can be installed in a similar manner.

Any Chrome users out there who can detail the method to Myriam???

Hello not worked for me and the computers gone wonky:shock:    I have  tried system restore but wont do it..  I will have to  wait for the expert to return from England, perhaps I need a different adblock??? we have AGV... thanks for the info ,,

I have AGV and it downloaded and installed fine, the Ads have been
removed also.

perhaps its me doing it wrong or maybe the computer I will wait for the 'expert '.
