Tree Felling Empty Tree Felling

Post by Richard T Thu Sep 19, 2013 10:35 am

Can anyone recommend (by PM of course) a tree surgeon in 87?

I have been let down by two, both of whom advertise their services in a well known ex-pat publication. One failed to send a divi even when chased, and the other was not even prepared to set a date to come and look at the job. They promised to phone back (when they were less busy) but failed to do so.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Richard, just seen your advert, if you are still looking one of my neighbours could help?
He supplies firewood and hence cuts down trees also he works at the wood yard at chamboret, he only speaks french though.
I am at leycuras house number 6,
Let me know if you want me to introduce you
Best regards

I don't think I need to do this via PM as I can highly recommend ..........Deleted.........but, has done work for me in 19320.  He turns up on time, puts in a good day's work (with 12-1 for lunch) and is very tidy.  He took down a silver birch for us, cut up and stacked the wood and did a major trim on an adjacent oak.  I have sent him a message to get in touch again as we have two massive Tilleul (lime trees) which we want sorting out.  His number is .....deleted.....  Tell him I gave you his number and we look forward to seeing him soon as we still have his fleece (which he left) on his last visit.  Good luck!  K.

It probably should have been via PM (Forum Rule No 5) but I won't tell anyone. Smile

I have made a note of the details. He's a couple of hours away from me but as the job is not too urgent I may ask him to call by if he's in the area.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry but I have deleted the actual name and contact details but left the actual posts. If anyone wants details please PM Blakevine.

The mods are not trying to be too rigid, but if we left it as was, then others may think that it is Ok and it would soon become the norm.

No-one is going to be banned etc... bit over the top.

If anyone is in doubt as to what is allowed then please read the forums rules and advertising clarification in the Forum Info section. Thanks

He! He! Blakevine
It's alright blakevine under current regs you can not be shot for a rule number5 but you could be sentanced to a slapped wrist and two hours of leaf sweeping in the rain.So don't do it again!.
