Tonight we will be enjoying Paella, of a Valencian slant. Consisting of mixed veggies with Wabbit and Wall Fish. We have, by trial and error, found that a bottle of Chardonnay, each, goes quite well with this spicy dish. It will be followed, room permitting, with Rhubarb Crumble.
Yum! Yum!

Ah, Wiener Schnitzel (from Vienna = Wien), made from veal ? When I worked in a restaurant in Belsize Park, London (the owners were jewish), they used pork instead of veal. A bit tricky Suspect  ...

Our dinner today was homemade soup with cèpes and champignons de Paris, Boeuf Bourguignon with carrots and boiled potatoes, cheese board, clafoutis and coffee.

Tonight we eat the left-overs.

Tonight's dinner will be a Tagine of Rabbit, Prunes & and mixed Veg with Couscous (that should keep us regular). The wine will be a cheeky little red number from Guerrouane near Meknès. Dessert is yet to be decided.

You do know about 'Rabbit Starvation'? I believe poachers occasionally died of it, in t'olden days.

I hear the new craze in restaurants is eating insects which are very high in protein.
Think I'll pass on that one.

Stilton eh? I used to live in Leicestershire near Hose and Long Clawson dairy where they make it and I think it can be hard to beat although I'm coping with Blue d'Auvergne. As we've only just finished lunch I think our dinner might be a cinq (or is it quatre) fromage pizza from Auchan followed by blackberries from our garden and ice cream.OOoooooooohhhhh.

Tonight will be another one-pot wonder with chorizo, chicken, courgettes, leeks, mushrooms and garlic. Will probably do some crushed potatoes with it.
