There's a good quantity of excellent topsoil for sale near Couzeix, Limoges.
It is being taken from a field at the local equestrian centre, and has been well horse manured for years.
The farmer is charging 15 euros a cubic metre, there are seven cubic metres in a ton.
He delivered two loads to me, (10 cubic metres/ 14 tons) for 170 euros including 20 euros delivery charge for the two loads .A distance of ten kilometers.
