Well folks
The weather was cloudy and wet, the journey took us some 40 minutes but when we arrived we were made most welcome. David showed us round and introduced us to all the other folk. Sue joined the library and we had a pre lunch drink.Tim the Chef ,along with his helpers did us proud and the curry lunch was well worth the money and the journey. We also met some lovely folk from all over the Correze, some having travelled a fair distance to get there.
The Chateau Bellefond is a most lovely setting for the Library with wonderful grounds, and David gave us the grand tour.It was also good for Ex-forces like Sue and I to meet David our local SSAFA rep here in the Correze. It was also handy as they also had a British legion Collection point, so we were able to get our poppies and crosses, ready for our local commune Armistice day parade
So all in all a good day was had by all and the work put in by the organisers was much apprieciated by Sue and i.
