Hello all, some of you know me some don't, my name is john and i live with the wife and kids (6 and 4) just on the other side of the haute-vienne border, i have lived here for 7.5 years moving over from the UK, i am a macon avec pierre which is something i really enjoy but can be hard work sometimes, my hobbies are music prefer the old skool late 80's/early nineties stuff, i also have a small website dedicated to my travels around france digging up its lost history which keeps me busy hopefully i'm ok to post a link

www.abandoned-france.org

i'm also a bit of a vw nut too but thats another story:D

Hi John

I loved the pics on your site. Having lived here 5 years now we find it difficult to have time to visit places as, like you, my husband works, but does long hours, often 7 days a week. We also have a hectic social life linked with music. We are north Creuse. I have strange musical tastes, love stuff like trance, Basto and David Guetta but our time is mostly spent at Bal Trads which is French traditional music and dance, but not tea dance stuff, most of the groups are young as are most of the dancers! We are some of the few "older" ones. Not VW addicts but in UK we both has Nissan 200s and belonged to the club, unfortunately, all that is left behind, no lowered cars and sparkly rims here Razz
