Hi Folks
The Sun cleared our local early morning frost away,After a pre parade cofee in the village bar it was time for the parade. This was our eight year that we walked behind our flag carrier up the hill to the cemetary, after a short speech followed by a minutes silence. We then walked back down the hill to the village cenotaph. Another short speech was read and the names of all the fallen read out. The wreath was laid and a minutes silence followed.
The twenty plus folk who attended then beat a retreat to the village bar.The local Madame Marie then bought every one a warming drink. and we all chatted till lunch time.
The Occasion was only spoilt by the local chasse, who even on Armistice day could not give it a rest and continued to race around the village ,shooting at anything that moved in the local woods .
