Rutabaga!! Empty Rutabaga!!

If you're looking for some entertainment next weekend (1st/2nd March), the Ferme at Villefavard (northern Haute Vienne) is putting on a musical based on French popular songs and dances of the WW2 era. At 6pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday afternoon. The show is called "Rutabaga", ie "swede" after the vegetable which characterises the war years for the French.

The performers are a group of about 40 young people. I have seen them before, and they perform to a very high standard - many are as good as professionals I would say - so well worth seeing. You can buy tickets at the door on the day.
