The French Version of Frank Spencer
Hi folks
Simmo back on line .Well it's all happening in our neck of the woods, our new french neighbours, who bought the gites in our hamlet, moved in across the lane and started their renovation works, which included:
1 Digging a hole under the front of his home for an underground garage, this is some 10mtrs deep and filling with rain water, the gable end of the house now looks like it may collapse at anytime.
2 Digging the hole for the garage destroyed the fosse septic for the gites, this resulted in him having to run a pipe into a field next to his swimming pool .
3 His new water main works has turned our lane into a gravel track.
4 His new power supply to the four houses have now turned our lane into a muddy gravel track.
5 To insulate his house roof he then took his roof off, and his wife wire brushed his asbestoes tiles before putting them back on.
6 During insulating his house roof he struck the concrete power and telephone post with his teleporter tractor damaging our telephone lines, this required French telecomm and orange internet services repair teams to turn out to rewire our line and test all the lines and systems into the hamlet.
7 Digging his new drive way to his new under ground garage he has also dug up his next door neighbours power cable which has meant a new cable and box having to be installed.
8 He has also turned our other commune lane, which leads to our lake and forest into a no go area after digging it all up.
Everything has now gone quiet on the bomb site, as he has finally had to stop after rupturing himself and having to go into hospital for an operation. With him being out of action for at least three weeks.
So folks i think it's time to call in the Marie and show her round.
Simmo in wellie boots but now back on line.
