Touch wood I'm over the worst, the rapeseed flowers (planted for the first time in this neighbourhood!) followed by the Acacia blossom had me wheezing like a broken accordion!

I like this solution in the Conexxion: smearing some petroleum jelly on your nostrils   .

The "cure" that has always been used by sufferers in our family was to take honey produced in the immediate area.

I've heard that somewhere before and you've just reminded me, I'll have to give it a try as I know someone in the village who makes honey.

I thought you had to do it (take honey) one month before the season - a teaspoon daily. I did this last year and it seemed to work. I had a small jar of local honey which I took with me to UK for winter ready for my 'cure'. Unfortunately when it came to the time to take it, my husband had eaten the honey  

typical!

It will have to next year for me then.
