Name of garden products
Hi Folks
just wondering if anyone knows the name of a good weed and feed product for grass here in france. I have tried a number of stores but have been unable to find anything so far.

Hi Inkflo
Thanks for the info, I was looking for something to feed the grass but take out those broadleaf weeds at the same time. They do a product called weed and feed in the UK ,but i have not seen it in any of the shops here.

Those three links from Inkflow all show weed and feed products.
We were advised many years ago that by constantly mowing you eventually get rid of the weeds anyway, and it definitely works.

Amber is correct Simmo, they are weed and feed as per the one in the UK.

Thanks for all the info folks.
Our golf course and lawns look a real treat after nine years of grass cutting. The problem we have is after having the swimming pool installed by a pool company, i had them stock pile the soil and spoil to give us a viewing area of our local forest and surrounding area. We have levelled and sown grass on the area but some of those broadleaf weeds have come through too. So it is weed and feed time on the estate.

The Castorama, Leroy Merlin and Jardiland products mentioned by Inkflow all contain 2,4-D. Just google 2,4-D and you will find it's an ingredient of Agent Orange and harmful to the environment, the water, the bees, other living creatures and yourself. It contains dioxines which cause cancer.
By the way: pissenlis and plantain are considered as mauvais herbs by many, but are in fact very useful plants.
Why not plant wild strawberries for instance or other covering plants, without the need of mowing or using these poisonous products.
Please don't pollute the beautiful Corrèze with pesticides and herbacides that kill bees by the millions!
