Free seeds - Hibiscus Trionum

I will soon have plenty of seeds from a Hibiscus Trionum that popped up in the garden some years ago and has seeded ever since. It is a beautiful flower and will self-seed once it is established. If anyone wants any seed, please send me a pm with your address and I'll send some out to you. Link below shows the flower:

Apologies to those who asked for seeds. I have a few but I'm waiting for some more flower heads to "seed" before I send them out. I will get round to it asap.

and in case you were wondering......the seeds have been successful (got about 12 plants) which have been flowering and am now hoping to get some seeds myself to scatter around our terrain. Many thanks. K.

I'm delighted you've been successful. They should self-seed without any bother.

All plants doing well and my neighbour was delighted when I gave her one; she also asked what to do with it in winter and I don't seem to have the answer. Do we bring them indoors or cover them to protect from frost, snow etc? Seems a bit early to ask but she doesn't live here all the while (ahem..) and I might be looking after it when she goes back to the Alps! K.

Hibiscus Trionum is an annual. When the flower dies, collect the seed heads when they're dry and sow them either straightaway or in spring. I am delighted that you and your neighbour have had such pleasure from such a small gift. Any other queries, please ask.

If anyone else wants some seeds from this years flowering, please let me know & I shall be happy to send you some when they're ready.
