Watch out tonight for the moon which will be up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full moons during the year. At the same time, it's the time of the year for the Perseid meteor shower, which should give a display up until Tuesday night. The problem at the moment, of course, is the cloud cover!

Hi Inkflo. Funnily enough, I thought of you when I posted this. If I remember correctly, last year it turned out to be my fault that you didn't spot anything Wink 

I've covered myself this year by pointing out the cloud problem. I think the chances of seeing anything are slim to none!

Saw a HUGE moon this morning as the SWMBO entered the shower.

Hi Inkflo. Yes, the moon was impressive. The trouble was that its brightness spoilt the chance of seeing any meteors.
