Week parking in La Souterraine

Hi everyone from past forums - I am jumping in with a question  

We are planning a weeks holiday later in the year and will start with a drive to La Souterraine Station. Does anyone know of a place that we can safely park the car for the week. I do not know if the station has it's own car park that would do.

The station at La Souterraine offers parking facilities with the first 48 hrs. free, after which payment must be made. Free long term parking is made available 200mts south of the station on the concourse of the Centre Cultural Yves Furet, Ave de la Liberté. It is signposted at the station. Other than my garages, which are not available, I know of no 'secure' parking facilities in La Souterraine.
