Hot weather, great.

The last week we had the wood burner on as it has been a bit chilly, my mum
does feel the cold, not surprising as she is 99 years old. She will be with us when
we visit our Cottage for the Summer and loves it there.

Hot today and getting hotter! Workmen are putting new lauze on one of our outbuildings. We'll have to turn them over tomorrow, one side is well cooked. Perhaps we'll ask the neighbours round for a BBQ. What goes nicely with roasted couvreur?

Depends...French or English? The former will have high levels of residual garlic so no need to add more, a side salad would go best with plain dressing. The latter, higher fat content so will crisp up better, serve with chips (and mayo if Belgian or Dutch).

French biensur! They've finished at last, considerably darker brown than they were when they started, but still alive and in remarkably good humour. Mrs A kept them liberally supplied with cooling drinks, which prevented them crisping up.

Should this have been under the "Food and Drink" section?
