Situated in the Deux Sevres (79) region of the Poitou-Charentes, Hope Association is not an animal refuge, but purely a voluntary fund-raising organisation working closely with other animal charities and local vets to try and help animals in need.

Phoenix is a network of foster homes, not a single adoption centre. The dogs and cats are fostered and integrated into family life.


Equine Rescue France

Based in the South West (Depts 24, 16 and 86), Equine Rescue France offers advice and support for English speakers facing equine welfare issues. Working with key UK charities, ERF are able to campaign for welfare improvements, whether enforcing existing legislation or campaigning for change. By forging links with the key French associations, ERF are able to support their work as well as to instigate local actions.

Alloue Equine Rescue is run entirely by volunteers.
This french registered charity was created in June 2013 by Sharon Wratten after nine years of helping horses in France. Sharon has over 30 years experience with horses and practices natural horsemanship to rehabilitate equines.
