How my French improves daily. My neighbour raved over my homemade marmalade and I then proudly informed him that it was just oranges and sugar with absolutely no added condoms. Ah well.....

My oh is allergic the the preservatives they add to food.
I've lost count of the times I've had to walk away from a conversation with French people because he used that word.
I suspect that most of our friends and neighbours think he's allergic to Durex. (Other brands are available I'm told!)
