Fixed phone line and Broadband

Apologies if this has all been done before... We are new to the forum and new to France.
We are Dordogne side of Haute-Vienne and would like to know who are the best providers for fixed telephone line and Broadband service please.
We don't require anything too radical, just enough to use the Internet and Email. An idea of cost would be helpful too.

The possibilities for internet depend largely on location. You could ask your mairie, or explore the options on the site below. In the right colomn you just fill in the name of the village/town where you will be residing et voilà.

For approx Euro 40,- per month you will be able to have internet, telephone and TV. For another Euro 10,- you have an abonnement illimité, which means your calls within France and Europe are "for free", ie. you do not pay extra for these calls.

Once you are connected, always remember to unplug your modem when there's thunder in the air!
