Help, com mem ! Empty Help, com mem !

I hear the French use it normally at the end of a sentence com mem (probably very wrong spelling).

I have asked a few friends but get a different interpretation every time and wondered how a British person would translate and use the words

Thanks

I thought it was quand même and use it as "all the same" or nonetheless etc etc ....

Like a lot of French phrases it often has more than one meaning.

"Merci quand même" can mean thanks anyway.

"Tu le fais quand même" you do it nevertheless.

Can be used as we would use the word really on its own.

Quand même! Really!

C'est difficile, quand même, le français Its difficult, nevertheless, the french
