Lack of posts.

Does the lack of posts in this section mean we have all legged it in the vain hope of escaping our pre-lives, leaving behind mentally or physically, our erstwhile family lives?
It doesn't work, they will find you.
And invade your spare bedrooms.
And wine stocks.
But,
Can't wait to see my grandchildren running around the garden.

For me, it's because I don't have children, grandchildren etc. So I've nothing to say on the subject!  

Not only do we not have children but other family members have no interest in putting themselves out to visit! We kidnapped a few and forced them to stay a week, but overall no one in either of our families can tolerate the quiet tranquillity of where we have chosen to live here. Some of them are frightened of the dark and lurking wild beasts, whereas we two are more scared of living in a town or city in the UK!

twointheeye - yes, we have the same advantage. Both my mother and my sister get twitchy if they're not in striking distance of an M&S!!

Hi Folks
Myself we have two dogs and a telle, The love of my life as a military Nurse (QARANC) in Cyprus at BMH Dhekelia worked on the childrens ward ,I think that put her off having children. They are ok when small but usually grow up to be a pain in the Butt.
Of course now and then we see the odd one or two wandering round with mums and dads.who always look stressed out and in need of a holiday with out the kids.
At least with dogs you can also pat them on the head,give them an hug and a treat with out getting arrested. They are also always glad to see you, you can also watch what you like on TV without them moaning.With our two dogs having the latest Designer clothing and shoes is not a problem either. Getting them to beds dead easy too,as after the evening walk they just crash by the fire.They also do as they are told and do not answer back,so all in all dogs have my vote.

Have no kids either, just two grandchildren  .

My grandaughter has just gone into labour awaiting the arrival of my great grandson RILEY

he's arrived:cheers: 8lbs 1 oz my daughter wants to be called Glam---mar you can guess the reason why:D
