Battery charger
Need a new one for my sit on mower ,my old one is only 3 years old is this the usual life span of a french one ,or is it better to get an english charger !!

First you need to ask yourself why the battery need recharging on your sit on lawn mower??

Red, your mower should be charging the battery automatically when you use it. The only time the battery may be low, should be at the end of the winter when the mower hasn't been used, but if the battery is not too old, even then, it should be ok.
If your battery is going flat during the cutting season, then either your mower has a problem and isn't charging the battery, or possibly, if you've been putting the battery on charge after each cut, then you may have overcharged the battery and charger.

The grass is cut every 2-3 weeks in the summer ,sometimes ok other times needs a charge ,my two french neighbours also charge thier mowers every couple of weeks ,perhaps its just all 3 of our mowers !!will ask them the age of thier mowers ,and i only put it on charge when it wont start

But getting back to my original question has anyone found english battery chargers any better than french !
