Hot dog glows on his birthday!

This is Herbie (who had his 5th birthday on Thursday) taking advantage of our wood burner; both were absolutely glowing - I did not take the photo with the "candle" setting on my camera!

That's a good fire you've got going, mind you with the bitter winds recently it's been needed hasn't it?
Our dogs are just the same with the wood burner, I really don't know how they cope with it! Happy belated birthday to Herbie.

Wood burner fire = ash and dust, nothing you can do about it! I'd rather enjoy the fire than worry about the dust

....can't take the credit for this one...this is Gizmo who belongs to "Simmo". It looks like he prefers to be behind the wood burner.....only he knows why.....
