...best food market in Limoges please

Les Halles in Limoges, Place de la Motte .. have only visited a couple of times and it seemed pretty impressive. In a lovely old building as well. In a nice square and the old Butchers quarter is just round the corner. Link below....

And you can get a very good lunch in the market café.

Yes ,Les Halles is very good plenty of french ambiance ,but the benches you sit on are a bit hard on the bum:roll: unless they have installed chairs since my last visit .And i also found the cafe in the square supplied a good meal  

Why would you be sitting down when visiting a market?  

Because a lot of people visiting Limoge markets like to lunch out there and if you are in les halls anyway ,and as already said if the restaurants are there with good food and quite cheap why not use them, Bowser asked for infomation and i think all the answers he has recieved will be of good use to him ,well done new forum and good marketing Bowser .
