Taxe Fonciere Empty Taxe Fonciere

I was recently in Bourganeuf for 6 weeks. I knew that the demand for the Taxe Fonciere would have gone to my UK address so I went the Tresorie Public and asked for a copy of the bill and to pay the amount in full. This years payment has increased by around 7% from 842 Euros to 900 Euros. How on earth do they justify this huge increase? There is still the Taxe d'Habitation to pay. I wonder how much that will go up?

An increase of 58€, wow! We dream of such miserly raises. Our has lifted a mere 257€ to a respectable 5193€. Mind you, we do have a TdH demand for 0€.

What size house do you live in to be paying such a large Taxe Fonciere bill? Doe this include a charge for business premises?

Well ours is 1009 euros this time. When we had it built in 2008, it was 700!
