emptying the fosse tank

Can anyone tell me the cost of this? and any recommendations for the boussac/gouzon area please ?

We had our emptied 18 months ago, and it cost 398 euros. We're not in your area, but
check out Vidange Fosses in the yellow pages or classifieds, and if you have limited access,
don't forget to ask them if they have a small tanker!

Yes, I should have said, ours was blocked and had to be unblocked first, so it did add to the cost.

Thanks, it's a bit like me, goes round in circles!

Check with your mairie first whether they do it. We had ours unblocked and cleared by a commercial company for about Euro 200,-, only to find out afterwards that it's all part of the service of the mairie and that we pay for it in our assainissement bill.
