Hi Escapee. Make the most of it; from 2015, it's due to be scrapped for us people living in these sweltering climes. Did you know, it's almost 30 deg here today? I've just got back from a dip in the pool and I'm chillin' out on the deckchair with my pre-prandial cocktail. I'm nipping down the town later, because I'm almost out of sun cream. By Gad, life's good here in the tropical Creuse.

One of the money saving measures from the UK government Red but it takes a while to get these things through the legal process.

Not yet but, unless the government backtracks on its determination to penalise all us ex-pats living in these sunny climes, we will lose it w.e.f. 2015. Must dash, my wife needs some ice cubes for the visitors' drinks. It's all right for them, laughing and joking out there on the patio and in the pool; I'm sat in here slaving over a red-hot computer with the air-conditioning blazing away.
